The Essex Farm Clusters (we are one of 4 to date) have been driven by Essex County Council and the Essex Nature Partnership to help deliver the goals of the Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS), established to meet government targets from the Environment Act 2021. Learn more about our sponsors, supporters and the LNRS below.
The cluster is a Community Interest Company (CIC) and as such is a not for profit dedicated to using funds to support our aims to support the farming and land based community and economy within and around the Tendring area. We provide a welcoming safe space for farmers and others to learn, source support and collaborate to make their businesses and related rural and wider community more resilient. Through our work and alongside members and supporters we also engage with other stakeholders, from local and national government to local businesses and multi-national corporations who share common goals, to facilitate the transition to a more sustainable land based economy.
